A little about me!
Age 34, shameless Christian. It’s not a religion, it’s a lifestyle! My life revolves around God. God sent his son, Jesus Christ to be born of a virgin, to live as flesh on this earth, and then to pay the ultimate price for you and for me on a cross after brutal punishment for crimes he never committed…the least I can do is live for him if he died for me. He care so much for me and you that His spirit remains with me, the Bible calls it, omnipresent, he’s present everywhere to help me, to guide me. This blog is about me and my thoughts…I know not everyone believes the way I do, and that’s okay – I don’t force my beliefs on anyone nor would I ever…I do present them when given an open door though.
Husband of 11 years to my highschool sweetheart, Amie. I was the first and last guy she ever dated, and her first kiss. We won’t talk about her or my boy/girl friends during the years we didn’t date.
Father and Daddy to my 10, soon to be 11 year old daughter. Father and Daddy? YES!? Anyone can father a kid, but it takes someone special to be a daddy!
I am a youth pastor, have been for about 5 years now, 3 years at my current home church, Deerwood Assembly of God, in Morrilton, Arkansas. I LOVE youth pastoring, I love teenagers, what else can I say!? I have a testimony as do most people, but God has spared my life which I wrecked and didn’t deserve anything, but here I am – I’d take Hell on with a squirt gun if God told me to…although, I’d rather stay as far away from hell as I can…have you read what the Bible has to say about that place?
I am also a business owner. I co-founded & co-own a QuickBooks training & support company. If it’s QuickBooks we do it. As a part of this company we also run an agent office for Innovative Merchant Services (IMS) aka QuickBooks Merchant Service. I founded this company with my mother who had been a CPA for 20+ years, I have been involved in software and hardware in a variety of ways for many years. So, about 6 years ago, we combined our talents and formed Barons’, Inc.
